Two programmes prduced by Screentime ShinAwiL programmes have appeared in the Top 20 Programmes of the decade in viewing ratings compiled by AGB Neilsen Media Research.
Popstars, aired on RTE in 2002, came in at 17 with a peak of 1.2 million (and a share 61.5%) of viewers tuning in to witness Nadine Coyle having to leave the band because she was under age. The band SIX went on to have one of the highest selling singles by a music act in Ireland ever.
Coming in at 7, with a peak of 1.05 million viewers (and a share of 60.7%), was the final episode of the first series of You're A Star that aired in 2003 on RTE 1. You're A Star audiences selected Mickey Harte to represent Ireland at the Eurovision Song Contest. This lead to the success of the Eurovision Song Contest that was shown on RTE and appeared in 4th place on the list with over 1million viewers (the programme peaked at 1.17 million viewers and had a share of 68.2%).
