Fame The Musical

RTÉ One and Screentime ShinAwiL (Popstars, You're A Star, The Apprentice & Dragons' Den) are launching Ireland's biggest ever musical-theatre search to find the male and female stars for one of the country's most ambitious national tours of a West End Musical. Commencing in the Grand Canal Theatre in August 2010, this well known musical is set to thrill Irish audiences during a 15 week tour.

Online applications have now closed for Fame The Musical, open auditions are taking place at the following venues:

Wednesday 17th February - 10am to 5pm
Dublin - The Grand Canal Theatre, Grand Canal Square, Docklands, Dublin 2.

Thursday 18th February - 10am to 5pm
Dublin - The Grand Canal Theatre, Grand Canal Square, Docklands, Dublin 2.

Wednesday 24th February - 10am to 5pm
Cork - The Everyman Palace Theatre, 15 MacCurtain Street, Cork City.

Please Note:

Applicants must be 18 years or older from 1st February 2010 in order to be considered.

Auditionee's attending open auditions will be pre-auditioned and are not guarenteed to make it to the televised judges round.

The live shows will take place between April and June 2010 so you must make yourself available for this period if successful.

The winners of the series will join the national tour which kicks off in August 2010 in the Grand Canal Theatre.
